Made by the Sea

Made by the Sea pop-up winter fair at the Colonnade, Bexhill finished a fantastic one-off trading season on 24 December 2011.

Based in the newly regenerated grade II listed King George V Colonnade, Made by the Sea provided a shopping offer that could not be found anywhere else on the south coast, with a distinctive arts-led feel.

From 22 October until 24 December 2011, the consortium of traders showcased the upgraded Colonnade - a restaurant will take on the space in Spring 2012.

The project was managed by the 'Made in Hastings' brand - key players in the regeneration of Hastings Old Town as a visitor and shopping experience in recent years.

This website tells you more about the winter fair project, the traders involved, the news, and the seafront regeneration scheme.
